Branston Pickle

I used to eat it but don’t now as I’m not sure if it’s gluten-free,

In Waitrose today, someone was demonstrating their new bottles, which are easy pour or something. So I asked her if it was gluten-free.

Her script says it wasn’t suitable for coeliacs as it contains rice flour!

I believe that Crosse and Blackwell are owned by Nestle, so there’s another company not to trust!

Update October 19, 2006

Branston Pickle is now owned by Premier Foods.
