Motorway Eating

I find one of the best solutions is to go to service areas with a Marks and Spencer Simply Food. There is one on the M40 and I think there are about six in total now. I have a letter from Stuart Rose, who says this is a big area for them to expand into. Last time I went out of Manchester on the train, I got some very good snacks from the Simply Food in Piccadilly Station. They have a very nice egg salad, plenty of fruit etc.

There is also a couple of O’Neills at Clackett Lane. I’m told the latter does gluten-free soup. Or most of their other branches do.
